While L’Affamé is a bit out of the way from most of the tourist spots in Paris, this modern and sleek Parisian bistro exceeds our standards for a halal dinner date therefore totally worth the trip!
The ambiance is pretty nice, the furniture, color choices and especially the very cozy outdoor space really moved this space to a more dinner date status than a casual cafe. If I have to pick on something the logo of the restaurant, which is also on the walls as a painting should really get an update, it just doesn’t match the whole vibe they’re going for.

Menu Recommendations:
For starters if you want the more traditional French appetizer you have to have the Foie gras de canard, served with fig jam, but if you’re looking for something more adventurous, yet still French try the Escargots de Bourgogne Traditionnel (snails with pink garlic!). Continuing with the essential French dishes we recommend the Halal Magret de canard tranché. Additionally, this restaurant gets bonus points for many delicious Mocktails!
Itinerary tip:
Start your day at the cutest Parisian neighbourhood of Montmarte, there are tons of photo worthy spots as you make your way to Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Paris (Sacré-Cœur), souvenir shops and the small yet so pretty chocolate museum at Maison George Larnicol (7 Rue de Steinkerque, 75018 Paris, France) with 1 Euro Macarons. After Sacré-Cœur, walk up to L’ Affamé and don’t forget, if you need to pray the mosque (Institut Socioculturel des Musulmans) is literally right across the street from the restaurant. Now that’s convenient!
